Joey Badass accuses Delta of damaging $12,000 worth of studio equipment

Joey Badass wants Delta Air Lines to pay.

The East Coast rapper accused the company of damaging studio equipment worth $12,000 during a recent flight to Portland. Joey made this claim in a few Instagram Stories in which he showed a mobile studio rig with broken and missing parts.

“Yo Delta, what the fuck is going on? You just messed up my fucking studio rig bro,” he says in the video. “First of all, all that shit had a case on it. Now there’s no more fucking business on it. You broke my fucking buttons. Like, you know how much that costs? You’re going to have to pay it all back.

Joey says this was the second time in the past month that Delta has ruined its business.

“You all broke my fucking Rimowa bag, you still haven’t paid for it,” he added. “I’m a fuckin’ diamond medallion member, like, what’s up with you? I need fucking answers, Delta.

A Delta spokesperson said TMZ their team is aware of the problem and intends to contact Joey.

“Delta teams will review this described situation and contact the customer to address it,” they said.

Joey is currently on the road for his 1999-2000 North American tour, which concludes in Los Angeles later this month. He is also preparing to release his 2000 project, which follows its 1999 first mixtape. The effort will have 14 tracks with contributions from Westside Gunn, Diddy, JID, Larry June, and more.

2000 should arrive this Friday.
